Delivering high quality sales and marketing materials quickly and cost-effectively across the franchise group
Find out more about…
Domino’s Pizza Group is recognised as the world’s leading pizza delivery company and has over 1,000 stores in the UK and more than 35,000 team members. As a franchise business, it supports individual franchisees across multiple locations with central functions including information systems, supply chain management, operations, human resources, marketing and communications, and legal, and property services.
Domino’s business demands a wide range of high-quality printed collateral and campaign materials that can be distributed consistently across its franchise group within very tight timescales.
In addition to the centralised communications from the head office team, individual franchises require materials that are highly tailored to their specific local requirements. Franchisees often need to work fast to deliver campaigns to market quickly, often in response to competitors.
PDS began its journey with Domino’s in 2010, working closely with the head office events team to produce a wide range of printed collateral including goody bags, lanyards, visitor tags, pin badges, and exhibition signage.
Based on its track record with the team, PDS was then challenged to extend its offer to other teams within the business including training, HR, and security, and more widely within Domino’s group, starting with developing POS materials and merchandise products for new franchisees.
Every franchise is different, so PDS took time to understand the range of individual requirements, enabling it to deliver a tailored service. PDS partners with each franchise to boost its sales and marketing capacity through a diverse range of products.
For example, PDS started its work with the SK Group of franchisees on producing branded clothing, pop-up banners and promotional merchandise. The team at SK Group was so impressed with the service, it went on to commission the print for all its local store marketing
materials including millions of value cards, delivered through Royal Mail’s Door to Door delivery service.
PDS now operates a stock-holding service on its own premises for SK Group’s leaflets, balloons and box top stickers. This enables franchisees to save on cost by printing in bulk requesting despatch as required throughout the year.
SK Group went on to commission PDS’s creative services for all its design requirements, working closely with the marketing teams on individual print campaigns.

Interested in how PDS can help you deliver solutions across our service pillars?
Working with the head office events team helped PDS to understand the rich heritage of the Domino’s brand including its unique family values and rigorous work ethic. PDS proved its ability to deliver high-quality materials more quickly and at a competitive rate, helping to effectively streamline communications across the wider group.
By delivering more quickly and efficiently, PDS was able to save SK Group time whilst maintaining costs at competitive rates and simultaneously delivering against tight deadlines to ensure that the brand remains high profile in targeted areas.
PDS played a significant role in ensuring that SK Group remained ahead of its competition with a two-day turnaround time on leaflet printing and despatch. This service enabled SK Group to beat local competitors, Pizza Hut, to market on the same deal.
