Setting up shop
Rob enjoyed an early career in retail starting part-time with Iceland while he was still at school. After completing his A Levels, Rob joined the business full-time and quickly progressed through the ranks to become first supervisor and then assistant store manager.
Moving on from retail, Rob secured a position at a print and direct mail business in Wellingborough where he worked in stock and distribution for more than 10 years. Rob then moved into sales with the same business as an account manager and joined PDS a few years later.
Rob started his PDS career as an account executive and has progressed to become Client Services Manager within two years. He now has oversight of the activities of the team of account executives and ensures that their workload is well-balanced enabling them to deliver the best possible service to PDS’s clients. Rob said, “I really enjoy being part of a team where my ideas are valued, and any suggestions are always taken seriously.”
Outside work, Rob enjoys spending time with his family and keeps fit by playing football and walking the dog.
