“My role is focused on building relationships and really getting to know my clients, how they work and the goals that they are trying to achieve. I prefer to work collaboratively with them so that they feel comfortable approaching me to discuss ideas that might help them to achieve their marketing objectives. I try to work as an extension of my clients’ teams and call on colleagues across the business for input into developing creative ideas for them.
“I enjoy working with at PDS because we all help each other as part of a team effort. There are many different skillsets within the wider team and it’s good to be able to get advice whenever I need it. The wider PDS team is a great resource that all our clients can benefit from.
“I love learning and I’m always on the lookout for new ideas that might work to solve clients’ issues. I once spotted a mobile phone made from corrugated cardboard in a point of sale display and I was able to feed this idea into the process for creating exhibition materials for Domino’s pizza. Domino’s wanted to stand out at freshers’ fairs with limited space, so we created bespoke cardboard seats that looked like stacks of pizza boxes. It was a fun idea and it made a big impact with the students.
“The best advice I have ever had was to always act with kindness and this applies to the way I operate in business too. It is definitely an ethos that is supported by the PDS way of working.”
